The Allman Brothers Band were part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 3rd Annual Music Masters tribute concert back in 1998. That year the Rock Hall and ABB were paying tribute to blues legend Robert Johnson.

“Come On into My Kitchen” was the third Robert Johnson cover they did of the evening, yet you can hear Johnson’s influence in nearly every ABB tune they sang that night.

ABB’s concert ended with a “One Way Out” encore featuring Bob Weir. I would LOVE to get my hands on that performance!

The Rock Hall just released pro-footage of this performance. Enjoy Gregg and the boys breathe new life into this timeless blues classic!
