The Chris Robinson Brother is on the west coast, gearing up for a three night run in San Fransisco to close out 2018. The three night run, which starts tonight was preceded by a gig in Arcata, CA. Arcata is located about five hours from SF via the 101.

This footage of Chris Robinson jamming with a group of buddies including Ross James, appears to either be a late night show or from an off night of touring. The impromptu gig looks to be in a cafe—a far more intimate setting than the traditional theaters that CRB plays.

Among the songs that Chris Robinson and Friends played includes a great version of the Velvet Underground’s classic “Oh, Sweet Nuthin’.”

Thanks to nowiknowuryder for the great front row footage!
