JJ Grey and Mofro joined forces in Asheville with Blackberry Smoke last Friday. Blackberry Smoke has an absolutely massive tour schedule that has them playing through December.

For Mofro’s set, JJ Grey welcomed Blackberry Smoke guitarist Charlie Starr to sit in for one of Mofro’s classics, “Ho Cake.” Charlie kicks off the solos and then everyone in the band takes a turn jamming on “Ho Cake” before Starr has another crack at it.

Thanks to Daniel Johnson for the footage!
