Southern rockers, Blackberry Smoke, the Marcus King Band and The Trongone Band teamed up for The Big House Summer Jam in Macon, GA this past weekend. What a better time to play some Allman Brothers Band tunes then when you are in Macon, GA?

Blackberry Smoke was the main act of the evening and invited Marcus King and Benji Shanks out for a blazing rendition of the daddy of all ABB tunes (in my opinion), “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.” Charlie Starr and Marcus King each have smokin’ solos during the 12 minute rendition.

Thanks to Eric Almy for the audio.
