Watch Bruce Springsteen’s Surprise Sit-in With Jackson Browne for the Eagles’ “Take It Easy” at Laid Back Festival

The Laid Back Festival, a traveling festival in the spirit of Gregg Allman, hit Holmdel, NJ yesterday. The line-up included Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Peter Wolf, Little Steven And The Disciples Of Soul and Jackson Browne.

Bruce did a couple of sit-ins throughout the evening. With Jackson Browne, Bruce came out to a hero’s applause and launched into the Eagles’ classic tune “Take It Easy.” The tune transitioned into the Jackson Browne original, “Our Lady of the Well.”

In addition to the Jackson Browne sit-in, Bruce also played the encore with Little Steven & the Disciples of Soul with Peter Wolf. The super-group played “Freeze Frame,” “It’s Been A Long Time,” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out.”
