Bob Weir finally finished the Dead and Company Fall 2017 tour at the beginning of the week in Orlando and last night he kicked off the much anticipated Bobby and Phil Duo tour in NYC.

The Duo tour played last night at Radio City Music Hall for one of two nights at the famed NYC venue. Bobby and Phil are scheduled for two shows in Boston and two shows in Chicago as well.

Last night’s first set was acoustic and the second set turned electric. The intimate format afforded interesting song choices and plenty of banter. While I love Dead and Company, you can’t beat Bobby and Phil together playing classic Dead tunes.

For the second set, Wally Ingram played drums to transform the Duo into a trio.
