Arizona born jam band, Spafford made their way out to the east coast and settled in for a pair of sets at the Brooklyn Bowl this past Friday.

To open the first set, Spafford kicked off the show with a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Shakedown Street.” Regardless of who is playing, there are few ways better to get the party started than with a funky take on the Dead classic.

Thanks to nico11104 for the recording.
