Soulive took over the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY the last two weekends for Bowlive. The Bowlive residency celebrated it’s 10th year with some monster guests and shows.
On Thursday, Eric Krasno and the Evans brothers welcomed Marcus King, Maurice Brown, Frédéric Yonnet and Tash Neal to join them for two sets of rock and funk.
King sat-in for just about half the show joining for the Blind Faith classic “Had to Cry Today” and coming back in the second set to jam on the Allman Brothers Band epic “Whipping Post.”
Frédéric Yonnet and London Souls’ Tash Neal joined Marcus King and Soulive for a cover of The Band’s “The Weight” for the encore.
