Joe Russo’s Almost Dead aired another installment of RAD in America last night on YouTube. The choice cut they served last night was from the fall of 2017 in Philadelphia at the Fillmore.

JRAD played a pair of gigs at the Fillmore right after Thanksgiving in 2017. The first of the two sold out gigs was a doozy. Check out the setlist below:

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead finished their Pacific Northwest run last week at the unbelievably beautiful Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Missoula, Montana. JRAD also hit spots in Oregon and Washington during their three-show run.

JRAD treated Big Sky Country to one hell of a setlist. The “Shakedown Street” at the end of set one was so tasty, Hamilton and the rest of the boys brought it back at the beginning of the first set.

Listen to Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Blazing St. Louis Opener – 2/15/2019 AUD

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead made the second stop of their winter tour in St. Louis last night. JRAD performed their first of two shows at The Pageant in the midst of a winter storm.

While it may have been cold outside, it was blazing inside in The Pageant. JRAD dropped nearly three hours of good ol’ fashioned Grateful Dead and other covers on the St. Louis fans. Tom Hamilton eased the crowd into a 18-minute rendition of Jerry Garcia Band’s “Cats Under the Stars” to kick off the first set.

JRAD tucked in plenty of goodies into the two sets including a cover of Bob Weir’s “Gonesville” from his newest record, a rare second set “Jack Straw” and the rare “Never Been to Spain” cover to cap the night off.

Bob Weir and Wolf Bros have made it to the final stretch of their inaugural tour. Last night they landed at The Fillmore in Philadelphia and were joined by a very special guest as they have been in weeks past.

Tom Hamilton from Joe Russo’s Almost Dead joined Weir, Lane and Was to kick off the second set and for the “Ripple” encore. Hamilton sat-in for “Peggy-O” and a gorgeous “Bird Song” at the beginning of the second set.

Watch Bob Weir’s Majestic Cover of Neil Young’s “Down By The River” in Syracuse – 11/8/2018 Full Show AUD

Bob Weir and the Wolf Bros are in the homestretch of their inaugural tour. Weir showed Syracuse some love and played a pair of sets with a unique guest last night at the Landmark Theater.

Mikaela Davis, harpist and indie-rocker from Rochester, NY sat-in for six songs during the set. At the end of the first set, Davis came out for “Bird Song” and then at the end of the second set for a beautiful “Wharf Rat > China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider.”

Mikaela joined Bob, Jay and Don for the encore as well. The first encore was an ethereal take on Neil Young’s “Down By The River” that Davis took the driver’s seat on. This may be the first time Bob has covered the Neil Young classic.
