Phil Lesh hasn’t been touring since the summer with a back injury and subsequent surgery. Phil returned to the stage for a mini gig this past weekend in Larkspur, CA.

Phil and and a group of friends (and family) were at the grand opening of a new SMART public transit station in Larkspur. Phil was joined by Grahame Lesh and Stu Allen for the short set.

Congressman Jared Huffman who was on hand for the opening of the new SMART station stop joined Phil, Grahame and Stu for “The Weight” closer.

Despite the time off and surgery, Phil looked in fine form! Phil doesn’t have too much on the calendar other than LOCKN’ for his 80th birthday.
