Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band have all been sidelined and sheltering at home during the COVID-19 pandemic like so many of us across the country. While Terrapin Crossroads may be closed, Phil managed to get his Terrapin Family Band together virtually for a song today.

Phil shared a recording of “Box of Rain” featuring Alex Koford, Elliott Peck, Grahame Lesh, Jason Crosby, Nathan Graham, Ross James of course himself. All the musicians recorded their parts from the safety of their homes and the footage was edited together to produce the final result. Phil remarked on his post “Weirdly kind of live from all over the place.”

Thanks to Phil Lesh for pushing the boundaries of the Dead and providing a first for the community and most importantly giving us a little light today.
