Phil Lesh, who turned 79 years young yesterday, celebrated in style with some friends at the Cap as he has for his last few birthdays. While Phil officially turned 79 yesterday, his birthday run started at the Capitol Theater on Thursday and ends tonight.
For his birthday run this year, Phil assembled a couple of different line-ups. Last night’s included Benmont Tench, John Scofield, Jackie Greene, Grahame Lesh and John Molo.
In addition to the grooving “Help on the Way > Slipknot!” above, check out some of the highlights courtesy of Sean Roche!
