Marcus King, frontman of the Marcus King Band and one of the most talented young musicians in the jam scene, recently sat down in the WGBH studios for an intimate acoustic set.

King’s most recent album, Carolina Confessions, was produced by Dave Cobb who has worked with Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, John Prine and Jason Isbell among others. MK took the opportunity at the Boston radio station to feature four tunes off this album.

Marcus’ talent is even more apparent when all is stripped away except for his guitar and voice. This mini-set is a great intro to Carolina Confessions as well.
