Hailing from Greenville, South Carolina, The Marcus King Band is a potent blend of rock, blues and a touch of jazz. The young guitar prodigy and his band released their first album on Warren Haynes’ label, Evil Teen Records.

Watch The Marcus King Band melt some faces at SXSW this year. This Jimi Hendrix, Grand Funk Railroad and Black Sabbath medley showcases Marcus’ fierce guitar work and soulful vocals. This was from their first of five sets they did at SXSW this year.

The Marcus King Band opened up for Mule last year on their tour. Watch for them at Mountain Jam this year.
