The Otis Redding Foundation hosted An Evening of Respect: Celebrating Otis Redding & 50 Years of “(Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay” this past Thursday. The fundraiser was hosted by Whoopi Goldberg and featured the Dap Kings as the house band along with a slew of guests including Otis Redding III & Dexter Redding, Warren Haynes and Marcus King among others.

Warren joined the Dap Kings on the iconic Apollo stage for the Redding classic “Hard to Handle.”

Warren welcomed his friend and protege, Marcus King to the stage to lend his guitar and vocal talents to more classics like “Satisfaction” and “I Can’t Turn You Loose.”
