Everyone Orchestra, conceived and conducted by Matt Butler, is a rotating cast of musicians that improvise full shows. The Everyone Orchestra has been “planning to improvise” since 2001 with some of the most notable musicians in the jam band scene.

Earlier this week, Butler’s Everyone Orchestra marched into Washington D.C. and set up shop at Gypsy Sally’s. Butler, who conducted and was on vocals, was joined by Jackie Greene on guitar, vocals, Chris Houser (The Werks) on guitar, Josh Schwartz (Turkuaz) on baritone sax, vocals, Jeremy Salken (Big Gigantic) on drums, Taylor Shell (Turkuaz) on bass and Eli Winderman (Dopapod) on keys.

The jams range from spacey to super funky (check out track 4), but are always interesting and captivating.
