The music never stops: this is Jam Buzz’s 500th post! Thanks for visiting and sharin’ in the groove!

Nashville rockers Moon Taxi joined the Flaming Lips, Eric Krasno Band and other acts at The Major Rager. The Major Rager is a mini-festival that happens in Augusta, GA the week of The Masters Tournament—one of the premier golf tournaments of the year.

Moon Taxi have put out four albums to date and their indie-progressive rock sound can be hard, but not necessarily Rage Against the Machine hard. This set from Moon Taxi under the name People of the Sun will delight even the most hardcore RATM fans.

From the opening siren of “Guerilla Radio,” Moon Taxi channeled Rage Against the Machine with urgency and precision. While it’s impossible to rage harder than Zack de la Rocha, Trevor Terndrup of MT gives spits spirited RATM lyrics with the best of them.

In all, Moon Taxi ran through 11 classic Rage tunes spanning their first three albums.
