Mike Gordon Band finished a quick, three show stint in the Northeast that included a stop at The Egg in Albany, NY. Mike has an impressive line-up including Scott Murwaski, Robert Walter, John Kimock and Craig Myers.

For the encore in Albany, Gordon busted out “Gimme Some Lovin’.” The classic tune was written by Steve Winwood, Spencer Davis and Muff Winwood back in 1966 and revived by the Blues Brothers in 1980 which brought the song back in the top 20. The song is perfect for Gordon’s thumpin’ bass.

Thanks to Noah Bickart for the recording.
