Bustle in Your Hedgerow is a supergroup that doesn’t just cover Zeppelin tunes, but explores new territory on one of the most legendary catalogues in rock history. The band lineup is Joe Russo on drums, Marco Benevento on keys, Scott Metzger on guitar, and Dave Dreiwitz on bass. The line-up should look extremely familiar—it’s one Tom Hamilton short of a Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.
Although more well-known, JRAD was still just a twinkle in Russo’s eye when Bustle busted on the scene 13 years ago. Their shows were rare beaucase all the musicians had other full-time gigs. My first time seeing them was nearly 10 years ago in Cleveland.
To celebrate their 13th anniversary and their buddy Jake Szufnarowski’s 43rd birthday, Bustle in Your Hedgerow hit up the high seas to play a couple of sets on the Rocks Off Boat Cruise around NYC.
