Jerry Garcia’s estate is readying another release in the Garcia Live series due out later this summer. Garcia Live Volume 14 is from an intimate show that Jerry did with bassist John Kahn. The duo’s winter tour stopped at The Ritz in New York City on January 28th, 1986.

“Ripple,” usually reserved for the encore spot, was located at the end of the second set. Jerry, who would later go into his coma during the summer of ’86 sounds as vibrant and soulful as ever. These Garcia and Kahn shows are treats—looking forward to this release!
