The Grateful Dead returned to YouTube with a couple of treats last week including “Wharf Rat” from the Capitol Theater in 1971 and the latest installment of All the Years Live.

One of the shows that has been pillaged the most for All the Years Live is the Dead’s summer 1971 Buckeye Lake show. Check out what David Lemieux has to say about this performance of “Playin’ in the Band,”—”From the short-lived two keyboard version of the Grateful Dead featuring Vince and Bruce, Playing In The Band always allowed the band to do some deep exploration. Summer 1991 featured some of the best shows of the Dead’s final half-decade of touring, and Buckeye was no exception to this excellence.”

Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the great footage!
