The Grateful Dead have returned this evening with their Friday night Shakedown Stream. This year’s footage comes from their legendary 1972 European tour.

On April 21, 1972 the Grateful Dead played their shortest show of the tour—an uncharacteristic 10 songs. The show was played and recorded for the Beat Club TV show instead of in a venue and was later released as Europe ’72: Beat Club, Bremen, West Germany (4/21/1972).
