Bob Weir and Wolf Bros ended their mini, four date tour at the Santa Cruz Mountain Sol Festival at the Roaring Camp Meadows in Felton, CA. Among the other acts at the Mountain Sol Festival were the Golden Gate Wingmen.
GGW’s line-up has a lot of Dead-friendly faces including John Kadlecik (Furthur, Dark Star Orchestra) on guitar and vocals, Jeff Chimenti (RatDog, Furthur, Dead & Co.) on keys and vocals, Reed Mathis (Billy and the Kids, Electric Beethoven, Tea Leaf Green) on bass and vocals and Jay Lane (Primus, RatDog, Furthur, Bob Weir and Wolf Bros) on drums and vocals.
For their closing song on Sunday afternoon, the Wingmen invited Bob Weir to the stage to join them in a massive 16 minute set-closing “Terrapin Station.”
