Eric Clapton kicked off a three night run at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday in London. Slow hand treated London to a cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain” for the encore on night one.

Clapton is actually a huge Prince fan and credit’s “Purple Rain” for changing his life.

Clapton kicked off the evening with a hat-tip to Doris Day who passed away earlier in the day at 97.
