Legendary rockers Guns N’ Roses have reunited and are gearing up for their 2016 tour. The band hit the Troubadour in West Hollywood on April 1st for an impromptu first show. Their official tour kicked off at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas last week on the 8th.
Despite their 23 year hiatus, the GNR proved they still have it. Well, almost. Axl fractured his foot before the show and was relegated to a throne lent to him by Dave Grohl who suffered a similar injury last year on tour.
“This is what can happen when you do something you haven’t done in nearly over 23 years”
Check out the fan footage from their tour opener of their Wings cover, Live and Let Die. GNR recorded the song for the Use Your Illusion I LP back in 1991 and it has become a staple of the band ever since. From Axl’s signature scream to Slashes’ incendiary guitar work – Guns N’ Roses definitely hasn’t lost a beat.
