The Grateful Dead are back with another installment of All the Years Live on YouTube. The latest stop on the long strange trip is Philadelphia, 1989.
Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes about the Dead’s performance of “Estimated Prophet” on 7/7/1989, “ Debuting along with Terrapin Station on 2/26/77, Estimated Prophet was a staple of second sets from mid-1977 onward, with its open-ended closing jam often leading to Eyes Of The World, He’s Gone, Terrapin Station, or as was the case on July 7, 1989, Standing On The Moon.”
Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the footage!
