The legendary Neil Young has returned to the stage with his old band Crazy Horse for the first time in two years. Young announced a couple of shows in Fresno, CA followed by a couple more in Bakersfield this weekend.
After the long hiatus and with no rehearsal, the 72 year-old Canadian and his band don’t show a bit of rust. The second show of the three night run showed Young and Crazy Horse in rare form as they dusted off classics like “Fuckin’ Up” and “Like a Hurricane.”
One of the highlights of the show was the back-to-back treat of “Cinnamon Girl > Cortez the Killer.” The two fan-favorites were received with raucous applause and Young didn’t disappoint, leaving it all on the stage as he always does.
