The Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Florida marks the beginning of the festival season and is usually one of the best of the season. The line-up at this year’s Wanee was headlined by Widespread Panic, Phil Lesh and Friends and As the Crow Flies among others.

As with most sets at Wanee, Widespread Panic was joined for a special guest for their encore on the 20th. Luther Dickinson, the lead guitarist from North Mississippi Allstars, joined JB and the crew for a an awesome cover of the blues standard, “Smokestack Lightning.”
