After a few solo gigs earlier this month, John Kadlecik got the band back together again for a four-night New Years run that includes stops in Philly, Falls Church and Baltimore.

The first stop at Ardmore Music Hall on the 28th featured a rockin’ “Dark Star > The Other One.” Usually mellow and contemplative, JKB gave “Dark Star” a serious strut. The groove gives way to a spacey jam that is much more characteristic of the Grateful Dead classic. The jam is cut short by the driving guitar and bass lines of “The Other One.” A beautifully executed jam!

John returns back to his solo gigs in early January.
