Check out notable post-punk icons, Gang Of Four perform a down-right dirty “To Hell With Poverty.” While post-punk might be a departure from the more blues & jam band shows I post here, Gang Of Four was one of the funkiest bands on the scene back in the late 70s and early 80s.

This performance is from The Old Grey Whistle Test, a long-running British music television show.

If you aren’t familiar with Gang of Four, check out their debut album, Entertainment! which has made all sorts of greatest albums of all time lists. David Fricke of Rolling Stone described Gang of Four as “probably the best politically motivated band in rock & roll.”
