There have been a number of interesting tribute acts to emerge over the last decade that have gone beyond simply covering the band’s catalog, but rather have reinterpreted their music. Jazz Sabbath is one of these acts.

Jazz Sabbath, who boasts a member that played with Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osborne, is Black Sabbath tribute act that plays Sabbath tunes in the style of, you guessed it—jazz. The band formed in 2020 and does stellar takes on the rock classics. The band has a funny shtick where they purport that they wrote all the tunes and “that other band” stole their songs.
