Umphrey’s McGee had a warm-up for their winter-tour in with a two-night stand in Kalamazoo. The Marcus King Band, fresh off their Panic En La Playa excursion, journeyed back north to tour with UM.
As was expected, Marcus King came out and sat-in with UM during their set. The choice of song couldn’t be better—”Power of Soul” by Jimi Hendrix. Marcus King and UM absolutely tear up the classic Hendrix tune.
Thanks to Sam Lincoln for the recording. Check out the full show!
