Tedeschi Trucks Band closed out their 7th appearance at LOCKN’ this past weekend. The past weekend marked the third of three mini-fests this August which took the place the traditional LOCKN experience.

On Sunday evening, TTB treated LOCKN’ to one of their classics—”Midnight in Harlem.”

Listen to Tedeschi Trucks Band Return to Stage at LOCKN’ – 8/28/2021 AUD

Fans flocked to the farm for a third and final time this past weekend. LOCKN’s last mini-fest included the official return of Tedeschi Trucks Band. While Susan and Derek have been touring with a roving collection of TTB’s lineup, Saturday marked the first post-pandemic performance of the entire band.

2021 marks Tedeschi Trucks Band’s 7th time playing at LOCKN’. Weather hasn’t been kind to the LOCKN’ mini-fests and this past weekend endured its share of weather related-issues including a short set from TTB on night 1. Regardless of the length of the set, it’s great to hear one of the scene’s best acts back in action!

Watch Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Allman Brothers Band Other Shit Set at LOCKN’ – 8/15/2021 Video

Although mired by inclement weather, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead played a handful of great sets down on the Farm at LOCKN’ earlier this month. JRAD along with a couple of other acts kicked off the first of three weekends of music down in Arrington, VA this August.

In addition to their traditional Dead sets, JRAD had “Other Shit” sets on the schedule as well. On Sunday, JRAD treated the Farm to an hour-long Allman Brothers Band set that included some really tasty extended jams.

Watch Tedeschi Trucks Band and Trey Anastasio Shred on “Layla” at LOCKN

Tedeschi Trucks Band and Trey Anastasio joined forces at LOCKN in 2019 for one of the most epic sets in the festivals history. The band, armed with not one but two incredible guitarists, set out to recreate the Derek and the Dominos classic album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs.

Earlier today, TTB released the albums namesake—”Layla.” Watch Derek, Susan, Trey and the band knock this one out of the park.

Watch Trey Anastasio Join Tedeschi Trucks Band for “Tell the Truth” at LOCKN’

Two summers ago, Trey Anastasio joined Tedeschi Trucks Band for one of the best collaborations ever at LOCKN. Trey and TTB recreated the classic Derek and the Dominos album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs.

The legendary set has been officially released. TTB has released another song from the show earlier this week—”Tell the Truth.”
