Watch this pro-footage of Widespread Panic treating Norfolk, Virginia to not one but two classic covers back-to-back. Once you hear Dave Schools launch into that unmistakable bass line of the Jimi Hendrix opus “Machine Gun.” The transition features some spacey jams and then ‘zooms’ into War’s brooding tune “Four Cornered Room.” John Bell’s heavily reverbed vocals give the song an extra layer of eeriness that puts it over the top. What a badass set of covers.
