Dead and Company started their trek across America after the West Coast leg of the tour. On Wednesday they rolled into Noblesville, IN for a show at the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center.
One of the highlights of the show came in the second set with the Bob Dylan tune “All Along the Watchtower.” While Dylan wrote the tune, Jimi Hendrix put it on the map. Mayer, a blues guitarist at heart, channeled Hendrix through his blistering guitar playing on Watchtower.
Just as word broke that the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in their history, Bobby broke into “Stella Blue.”
