Gov’t Mule’s tour pulled into Charlottesville, Virginia last week for a gig at the Sprint Pavilion.

Ron Holloway connected with the Mule at the end of set one for a cover of Little Feat’s “Spanish Moon.”

After two sets of Mule and assorted covers, Warren welcomed Ron Holloway and Chris Voss up for a rockin’ cover of Tom Waits’ “Goin’ Out West.”

Watch Gov’t Mule Crush “Can’t You See” in St. Petersburg

Gov’t Mule’s North American spring tour has come to an end, but the footage the last few weeks is still surfacing. Two weeks ago, the Mule rolled into St. Petersburg at Jannus Live.

One of the covers that Warren treated St. Pete to in the second set was the Marshall Tucker Band classic “Can’t You See.” Warren flexes his soloing skills a few times throughout the 10 minute jam.

For the encore, Mule jammed hard on another one of their goto covers, Tom Waits’ “Goin’ Out West.”

Watch Gov’t Mule & Steve Berlin’s “Goin’ Out West” Encore in Portland

Gov’t Mule headed out west on their summer tour this week and hit Portland, Oregon. The Roseland Theater is one of a handful of shows on the west coast before the Mule heads back east this fall.

For the encore at the Roseland, the Mule invited Steve Berlin to the stage. Berlin, best known for his role in Los Lobos, lended his saxophone to the Mule’s fitting “Goin’ Out West” encore. The Tom Waits song is a Gov’t Mule concert staple and a fantastic way to end the show.

Listen to Widespread Panic Bust Out War and Tom Waits Covers in DC – 3/16/2018 Full Show AUD

Widespread Panic returned to the stage for a three night run at The Theatre At MGM National Harbor outside of Washington D.C. These three gigs are the first since Panic En La Playa and WSP won’t perform until Wanee at the end of April. In other words, these are pretty big shows for WSP fans!

The second set featured a few bust out covers including War’s “Slipping into Darkness” to kick off the set. Steve Lopez sat in on percussion for the cover. WSP also covered Tom Waits’ rocker “Going Out West” later in the set.
