Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real have returned to YouTube with what looks to be a promise of a real winner of a series. Entitled Soundcheck Songs, the series will explore songs and artists — some well-known, some more obscure — that have influenced them as a band.

The first up in the series is Paul Simon’s “Obvious Child.” This week’s selection is courtesy of Promise of the Real drummer Anthony LoGerfo.

Thanks to Lukas Nelson for the footage and new weekly series!
