Warren Haynes is undoubtedly one of the hardest working musicians in the business today. What’s truly impressive is that he has been keeping this pace for years. At Bonnaroo 2003, he played lead guitar and vocals for The Dead as the headliner, did his set with the Allman Brothers and finally performed a legendary solo set. This solo set has since been released as a live album.

The entire album is gold, but this cover of the Dead tune is just perfect. Warren’s soulful vocals are the perfect companion to the heart-rending Stella Blue.
