Circles Around the Sun, the side project that grew out of the Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well shows a few years ago, has recently released a new album. Let It Wander was released in August and Circles Around the sun is on the road in support of it.

The quartet lead by Chris Robinson Brotherhood guitarist Neil Casal played at the Cornerstone in Berkeley the night before Thanksgiving. Among the tunes that they wrote for the Fare Thee Well set breaks, CATS also jammed on some of the new tunes they released this year including “On My Mind,” “Immovable Object, “Ticket to Helix,” “Halicarnassus” and “One For Chuck.” Fun fact—”One For Chuck” actually has a guest appearance on the album from Public Enemy’s Chuck D.
