The Revivalists ended the first leg of their spring tour with a pair of shows at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY this past weekend.
The NOLA roots-rock band have been touring with their high-octane live performances for 10 years now. This band cannot be stopped. Literally, they can’t. At Okeechobee Music Festival in Florida, Revivalists front man Dave Shaw dove into the crowd and emerged with a two-inch gash on his head. Despite blood streaming down his face, he finished the show. Wow.
In the first of two shows at the Cap, The Revivalists took a moments to pay tribute to one of the greatest rock pioneers of all time who passed away last week, Chuck Berry.
