Jimi Hendrix’s estate has just released a new new feature length documentary with accompanying live performances on both audio and video of Jimi’s concert in Maui in 1970. Ahead of the new doc, Jimi’s YouTube channel has release some new footage from the show.

Last month, Jimi’s estate released “Voodoo Child (Slight Return)” which was tucked into the middle of his set. It’s hard to believe that Jimi was only on this third stone from the sun for another 50 days after this concert.

Thanks to Jimi Hendrix for the crystal clear footage!
