The Grateful Dead continued their All The Years Live YouTube series yesterday with a gem from ’91.
RFK Stadium in Washington D.C. was a favorite stop for the Dead in the 90s. This particular show was officially released by the Dead as View From The Vault II: RFK Stadium, Washington DC, June 14, 1991.
Here are the comments Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux has about the classic Bob Weir tune: “From Bob’s first solo record, Ace, Black-Throated Wind was consistently in the setlist 1972-1974, but disappeared when the Dead returned after the hiatus in 1976. Thankfully, on 3/16/90 at the Capital Center in Landover, MD, this Weir-Barlow classic returned, and was right through the final tour in 1995.”
Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the great footage!
