Back by popular demand, and well because there still isn’t a whole hell a lot of live music to feature nowadays, the We Will Get By Streaming Tour has extended into August!

Tonight’s show features the Dead in the summer of 1969. The day after Jerry Garcia’s 29th birthday, the Dead played a gig at Family Dog at the Great Highway in San Francisco, CA. Unlike some of the mid-sixties shows we featured last month, by 1969 the Dead had really started to dig into some of their songs for some epic extended jams.

The highlights of the show include “Hard to Handle” and “The Other One.”

Setlist
Casey Jones, Hard To Handle, Mama Tried, High Time, Silver Threads, Slewfoot, I’m A King Bee, Cryptical Envelopement-> Drums-> The Other One-> Cryptical Envelopement-> Turn On Your Love Light

Thanks to Charlie Miller for the recording.
