Dead and Company’s long awaited summer tour kicked off last night at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA. Bobby, John and the boys are performing 19 shows in 14 cities through the first week of July.

Dead & Co opened the first set with a slow and sultry “Playing in the Band” and then got the party jumping with “Shakedown Street.” Thanks to Dead and Company for streaming the first song of each set!

For the second set, Mayer launched into the classic “Scarlet Begonias” that had a jazzy, free-flowing vibe. The begonias melted into “Fire on the Mountain” with Oteil on lead vocals. Nothing says summer like a good “Scar > Fire.”

Looking forward to Dead & Co heating up this month!
