In the wake of the COVID pandemic shutting down all live music venues in the country, we have seen a lot of musicians providing live music from their home. Holly Bowling, Oteil Burbridge, Grace Potter and Trey Anastasio are just a few that have let us into their home via Facebook and YouTube live for some much needed live music.

Ellen Berman’s Viral Video Productions has created a Corona Classic Concert series that features live music every evening. Ellen encourages you to donate to keep these working musicians, well… working. Donate here.

Yesterday, the series featured JRAD and Ween Bassist Dave Dreiwitz from the comfort of his kitchen. After opening with a selection from Bach’s Cello Suite, Dave turns up the distortion and runs through a selection of some of his favorite rock tunes. Things start to get really weird at about the 14 minute mark with a flute solo. Believe me, you want to watch this.
