Nugsnet’s Swamp Family TV is back tonight with a treat—a Derek Trucks superjam. The selection comes from the Trucks’ all-star jam session he lead at Bonnaroo back in 2014.

Every year, Bonnaroo has a “superjam” featuring a mashup of some of the best artists in the scene. In 2014, Allman Brothers Band guitarist, and co-founding member of Tedeschi Trucks Band Derek Trucks was at the helm of the superjam. After a sweltering day on the farm, Trucks and knock-em-dead lineup turned the heat up after midnight in the “That Tent.” Trucks lineup included Susan Tedeschi, Chaka Khan, Taj Mahal, Eric Krasno, Adam Deitch, Karl Denson, Ben Folds, Nigel Hall, Ryan Zoidis, Benny Bloom and many more guests. Wow.

The superjam selection came at a bittersweet time as Bonnaroo announced today that they have canceled their make-up date for this year’s festival. I’m sure other festivals that have postponed instead of canceling will follow suit.
