The Claypool Lennon Delirium livestreamed their show in Philly last night for free. The show featured a very special guest, Steve Ween, a.k.a. Dean Ween, a.k.a. Mickey Melchiondo, Jr. The special sit-in from the Deaner came in the middle of a packed set from CLD.
“The Mollusk” is the title track off the 1997 Ween album The Mollusk. Claypool’s signature bass playing gives a twist to the classic Ween tune.
Philly was treated to another very special guest the night before when Yoko Ono (Sean’s mom and John Lennon’s widow) came out for the encore cover of “Southbound Pachyderm” and improvised the lyrics. Wow.
