Rare footage from Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir’s appearance on David Letterman’s show has surfaced on YouTube. Jerry and Bobby appeared with the house band on Letterman’s show back on October 13, 1989.

The footage captures Jerry and Bob rehearsing Smokey Robinson’s “I Second that Emotion,” including a great a cappella run through of the chorus.
