Neil Young returned to the national spotlight in recent days when he issued an ultimatum to music-streaming service Spotify to either remove Joe Rogan’s podcast from the service or his catalog. Young, as he has done for decades, is using his music and status for political and social reform. Young has taken aim at Spotify, and in particular Rogan’s podcast for sharing misinformation regarding COVID-19 and it’s vaccines.

As a nod to one of the forefathers of rock, folk and freedom, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit busted out a cover of Neil Young’s “Like a Hurricane” during their encore. Watch as Isbell leads his band from “Decoration Day” into “ Like a Hurricane.”

Thanks to Fred White for the footage.
