Watch Boston-favorites bust out an electric & funky version of their classic “The General.” The song was first appeared nearly 20 years ago on Dispatch’s standout album, Bang Bang. While acoustic on the album, “The General” gets the electric treatment and a horn accompaniment courtesy of the Funky Dawgz on this clip from Gathering of the Vibes 2014. Dispatch adds in a touch of reggae and a sing-along for good measure.

Dispatch took a hiatus in 2002 for nearly 10 years, but luckily has been touring, albeit sparingly, ever since.
